Together, we are building a safer community for everyone.
Can we count on your support?
EHAP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that could not succeed without private donations, office volunteers and prayers for our clients. This year, we are on track to provide free casework for more than 250 people who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity in Monmouth County. We helped 18 street homeless men stay out of the cold and pivot to a safer and more productive life through our Winter Overnight Program, and we began a capital campaign to double the size of our Advocacy Center.
With the holiday season upon us, I am reminded of the hope that our clients hold in their hearts for a stable life, with a permanent home and steady income. The county’s shrinking housing stock and skyrocketing rents as well as an economy that has yet to fully recover from the pandemic means our services remain critical here.
EHAP embarked on a capital campaign so we could create an Advocacy Center that offers more programs and services to our clientele, including a comfortable space for socialization and safety from dangerous weather. Sadly, we were forced to pause the Winter Overnight Program due to budget constraints, but we are determined to find other, more permanent options for our clients in the future.
A donation in any amount allows us to further our goals and help more clients stabilize their lives and work toward a brighter future. Thank you again for sharing our vision of a community where everyone has a warm bed to curl into each night and the resources to meet their very personal goals.
